Are these diarrhoea tablets for dogs?

Yes: diarrhoea tablets for complementary feeding during and after acute diarrhoea. Legally they are a dietetic complementary feed for the reduction of acute intestinal absorptive disorders, for dogs and cats, with veterinary advice before use.

Does it contain probiotics?

No. The label lists prebiotics (GOS, MOS, FOS), beta-glucan, pectin, psyllium husk, sodium, potassium and purified diatomaceous earth. Live cultures are not declared.

How is it dosed?

Dogs: 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight twice daily. Cats: 0.5 tablet twice daily. Feeding as on the label.

When must diarrhoea go to the clinic?

Blood, repeated vomiting, lethargy, puppies, or stools that do not settle after a few days. This product does not diagnose.
